Nicole Nilson Schaffrich (born February 3, 1970 in Nashville, Tennessee,) is most known for coming second as a contest on the American version of the hit reality TV show ''Big Brother 2'', broadcast by CBS〔(Nicole Nilson Schaffrich profile by CBS for ''Big Brother 2'' ) 〕 in 2001. After the show was over, she became a radio disc jockey in Atlanta, for WWWQ (FM) radio,〔(Biography at Internet Movie Database )〕 which she eventually left. She has also been a writer and on-air personality for ''Reality Dish''.〔 ==Big Brother 2==
Schaffrich was one of 12 contestants in ''Big Brother 2''. Fellow players became irritated at her inconsistent behavior; she would do selfless things like cooking and cleaning for the other cast members, but would then turn around and coldly vote them out only to burst into tears about how much it hurt her to do so. She was one of the three contestants who were still in the house when the September 11, 2001 attacks occurred. Breaking the normal rules of the show, they were given basic information of the events.〔Powell, John, ("U.S. attack affects 'Big Brother 2'" ), ''CANOE JAM! Television'', September 13, 2001.〕 At the Final 3, Nicole won the last HoH spot and voted out Monica, who refused Nicole's phony expressions of sorrow and castigated her at length when she left (the situation was fraught for Monica because one of her cousins was reported missing from the 9/11 attacks and was never found). The Final Jury was not impressed with Nicole's claims that fellow finalist Dr. Will Kirby was "the devil" and that she genuinely cared about them, and she was awarded the runner-up prize of $50,000.
